PROMs in ENT

Beyond functional tests

However, these indicators reveal nothing about the social discomfort caused by an altered voice, the exhaustion from fragmented sleep, or the gradual isolation that comes with hearing becoming a constant effort.

PROMs bridge the gap between what examinations reveal and what patients experience in their daily lives.
