FAQ

Where is the data hosted?

Data can be hosted locally (on-premises) or on our dedicated servers (SaaS). Our SaaS solution currently relies on two certified, GDPR-compliant data centers located in two regions in France. Other geographic hosting options are available upon request.

Who has access to patient data?

Only authorized personnel can access patient-identifying data via personal login credentials. Data is secured with AES 256-bit encryption. For registries, clinical studies or scientific analyses, separate and explicit consent must be obtained from the patient and validated by you before any pseudonymized data is shared with a third party, including PromTime. Our platform includes a GDPR-compliant digital consent module.

Do I need a license to use PROMs instruments?

Some PROMs instruments may require a license or authorization from the developer to be deployed within your organization. PromTime advises you on optimal solutions and supports you in obtaining the required approvals. The institution remains the license holder and is responsible for any applicable fees.

When can I start collecting PROMs data?

Data collection can begin within 90 days of signing, provided data governance and IT authorizations are in place.

What do the acronyms PROMs, PREMs and CROMs stand for?

PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) are indicators that enable patients to assess their quality of life before, during, and after treatment. CROMs (Clinician-Reported Outcome Measures) are clinical outcome indicators measured by clinicians. PREMs (Patient-Reported Experience Measures) are indicators that enable patients to assess the communication, support, and responsiveness of healthcare teams during treatment.

Why does PromTime often refer to the pea pod metaphor?

To symbolize the value of transparent benchmarking. When the pod is closed, all peas are hidden in opacity. When the pod opens to the light, one pea stands out, creating a transformation dynamic among the other peas. Implementing a VBHC approach can be a complex process. It is better to be supported by experts. As the saying goes, "There's always room for a helping pea."
